The Tucson Steampunk Society is hosting a special event from noon to 6pm on Saturday, February 9 and they’ve graciously offered table space to Xerocraft. The 4th Avenue Trunk Show is a special sale in which merchants present arts, crafts, chef-inspired meals, unique drinks and one of a kind merchandise directly to you. Over 20 locally owned stores are participating.
The Tucson Steampunk Society will celebrate the Steampunk movement and the upcoming Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention II. The Time Travelers’ Outpost promises visitors and time travelers the chance to enjoy curios and artifacts displayed by local artisans as well as an opportunity to hobnob with authors and local luminaries from the Maker movement. An array of events throughout the afternoon will offer diversion and entertainment. Ukulele Catfish Keith will serenade visitors with his fine blend of Vaudevillian Steampunk ballads and ditties.
Xerocraft will be present at the activity with a table and several members showing off what we do from 3D printing to computers to woodworking.
The Tucson Steampunk Society will host Outpost Couture: A Time Travelers’ Fashion Show, Props to You: A Gadgetry Spectacular, tea dueling, and a mustache contest. The Time Travelers’ Outpost is free and open to the public.
